15. I was thankful when I found out ...

Something about the story had never added up quite right anyway. I mean when they played all those shows on TV about Santa, he was all the time making wooden trains and such, and I wanted a regular train set that ran on electricity. When I got one, I couldn't imagine how he did it, nor how he could afford it ... and if Santa is running around making all these toys for people, just what is the point of selling the toys in stores? Is that what the parents of the bad kids do? If so, wouldn't it really be better to be a bad kid and maybe get a Huffy bicycle rather than a wooden horse painted by elves?

Sheesh.
