We bought a kitten and she was either older then they said or went into heat early. We had a dog and the kitten HATED the dog.

Well, after she went into heat, she loved the dog - female dog, nothing happened but the kitty sure got friendly with the dog who was in shock (the hissing, clawing fiend was all of a sudden very friendly, rubbing up against her and meowing like crazy).

The cat got fixed and the dog and cat lived happily ever after.

It actually was a good way to get the dog and cat over their "problems".
