don't you think that if he was all that powerful he would be popping up everywhere on talk shows, investing in the stock market with really LONG positions, eating virgins alive, randomly popping into trendy discos in a blaze of flame and brimstone and in general doing all kinds of things to increase his power base with really cool parlor tricks?

I mean, just because jeebus ran off after we humilified and crucified him and decided to ignore humanity for the past 2000 years, doncha think the devil would have maybe stepped in and put in a few memorable appearances while the cat was away?
