47. Crosseyed and Painless is one of those classic lost tracks
The one that no-one names when asked for a favorite Talking Heads song but there's so much going on in the instrumental track and the lyrics are Byrne at his most obtuse/crytic best.

The commentary track on Stop Making Sense indicated that it was their attempt at creating an afro-pop record.

Bryne went on to say that they used it as their final song of the set on the tour because while it was never a popular song and one of their lowest ranked singles, it was the fastest (i guess in overall tempo) and it allowed the concert to end on a high energy note.

That just made me like the song even more than I already did.
