40. I am named for my grandmothers
My mother's mother had died long before I was born, so it was a no brainer that the first daughter was to be named for her.

Ultimately after much discussion, my other grandmother's name became my middle name. It 's a good fit.

I followed tradition and named my daughter for HER grandmothers.

and my oldest niece's middle name happens to belong to both of HER grandmothers.

My other niece is named for her grandfather, however.
