Moving On...

I've decided to stop stressing over politics. Nothing I can do will affect things, one way or another... and I don't have the heart to start all over again in any case.

I'm going to start a Red Hat Society chapter here in Santa Fe and just turn the "back o' Me hand" to the Democrats forever.

Who'll be President? Who cares? Since *nobody* wants to fight for the left anymore, why would stressing over it change anything?

If I live, I live. If I die, I die. I'm reminded of something My (now deceased) foster son once said to Me during the run up to the second Reagan Presidency in 1984. I said to him "J.R. you HAVE to vote! If the republicans win, you don't know how BAD it can get in America!"

He shrugged and said "Maybe... you don't know how *high* I can get!" and he spent the Reagan years stoned to the gills. I think he was right. Tune in, turn on, drop out! I'm dropping out! I'll visit here and join in the caterwaul now and again because this, and Air America Radio are the best places to get NEWS.

So from now until I eat that .45 sandwich, I'm gonna PARTY! J.R. was right...

They don't know how high I can get!

Lady Sonelle
