...my dad was 5' 10" and weighed 127 lbs his entire adult life.

Then he retired and "ballooned" up to the massive weight of 145 lbs.

That's it. Nothing my German-American mother could feed him ever changed his weight. He was a 'nervous type' and couldn't sweat, either.

Would that I took more after Dad than Mom.

But working out will certainly add muscle...and fat and starches are your friends so Long as you Are Working Out. Been broiling stuff? Start cooking it in butter (never margarine, that poisonous stuff) and adding more complex starches like potatoes to your diet. Put the butter On the Potatoes. Enjoy. :)
