103. That is true
I teach special ed and and an FLK is a kid who looks funny enough that they probably have some learning problems. The most obvious example is a kid with Down's syndrome. But there are kids with FAS (fetal alcohol syndrome) who have some very strange facial characteristics, low set ears, funny shaped heads, etc. And I taught a kid with Fragile X a few years ago who had a very strange shaped head. It was almost square.

It is not a definitive diagnostic tool, but an FLK kid is usually referred for testing in lower elem school. But there have to be other problems present, we can't say FLK is the reason we are referring the child.
