16. I hate it with such passion!!!
It is such a waste of time and MONEY!!

and in NYC its a tourist trap. i never go anywhere near it. i have gone into the city on New Years but to the village - had a blast. me my X and he cousin from Norway in a bar drinking beer and waiting for nothing in particular. not to many people streets were empty. sheer bliss. but the energy of the city.

um, until we couldn't get a cap and this guy in a Benz from the middle east picked us up and almost kidnapped us. this was back pre 9/11. not that it means anything but hell guess we would have really shit our pants if it was post 9/11.

the cousin from Norway was the best. funny as hell. my X was too drunk to notice we were going no where near our destination and i had to shake him and let him know um, we are in like alphabet city, not the ferry! the guy wanted to do some drugs with us. we wanted to go home. he actually drove us to the projects to make the buy.

so we said no and now to know me is know i am scared of no one. i said OK, lets go. enough of this. make a left here and keep going straight.

so then my X and i are in the back ploting on jumping out of the car on Houston street as soon as we stop at a light. (what about Norway in the front seat?) who cares? lol

so the kidnapper sees we are getting ready to bolt and explains he just wants friends. (i swear this is a true story) and opens his glove compartment and has these huge candy bars in it and offers us candy!!!

we refuse, meanwhile Norway is dropping dead in the front street. he is scared of the city to begin with and has an awful cold.

we get to the ferry terminal and he still doesn't want to let us out of the car. still talk talk talk. OK, now we are exchanging numbers! well my crazy X is. it was the only way he would let us leave.

when we get to the Staten island side and to my car i have an 80 dollar ticket on it because i parked where i told my X not to park but he said oh its OK just park there!!!!

happy new year!
