And all the mindless banter with the news/infotainment fuckers? God, I hate these people. The same liars who manufacture and spin propaganda which result in sending our children to war, now entertain us with their wit in our hour of celebration. Fuck them all. If they told us the truth instead of propaganda during 2004, maybe 2005 would be better.

I just finished watching "Anchorman", which IMHO, wasn't terribly funny, but I liked it anyway. After it was over, switching over to network TV, the talking infotainment-heads look just as stupid as on the parody. Fuck them all with their ball-drop bullshit.

All this sugar-coated reflecting over the events of 2004? Well, nostalgia ain't what it used to be. How about talking about how the election and country was stolen by fascists in a coup, 80,000 women and children killed in Iraq, the national treasury plundered by war profiteering, the dismantling and exporting of US industry, the explosion in homelessness, etc., etc., etc. Happy new year, it sucks to be us.

(Sorry to get so pissed-off in the DU Lounge. :) )
