The one thing about Petty's concerts is it's like a "happening" everyone knows all the words and sings, and they are all races and ages. It's like a Pilgrimage for my daughter and me. Last year we also went to see Foo Fighters and saw Moody Blues too (2003) This year just Petty.
The free stages usually have really decent acts too. There is still alot to see and do, but it is really expensive now and too much cement and cops. I liked it better when it was Hippy Haven...
