i quit AOL years ago because it was just a Porno Spam Mill...
Dont blame the Hubby.. probably someone whose email address book as infected and it infected everyone in his address book computers and infected everyone computer .. someones ad infinitum.. your address was in it.. caught a 'Bug' on a porno site and it is spamming through the internet via the addresses in everybodys book.. this can Daisy Chain at exponentional speeds..you could be the victoms of a factor of 20 from the origional book,..that is why they call it a "virus". the people who did this sometimes sell the adresses to other porno sites and you will soon get other titles, i am going thru a phase of young girls want you now.. and anal babes beggn for it.. i click on >message>block sender> but it is like weeding crab grass..
i just change my address when it gets too bad.
www.spybot.com has some good freeware to get out the spyware.. if you buy it it will tell you when it is trying to get in and you can kill it befor it enters.. there is an anual fee but it is cheaper to renew.
you can go into 'tools' in XP and block popups and type in the address of popup sites to block them. i got infected with that once..couldnt even use the computer..couldnt click them off fast enough to read the screen
