I'm happy to say that I haven't bought a single US product since Nov. 3. There is a propsal going forward for a much more formal and organized boycott at a conference of international peace, justice and environmental groups in January. With the current US trade defeceit standing at 50 billion + a month, this could get the defeceit near a trillion dollars a year fairly quickly. I mean no offense, or harm to those on the left, but perhaps the only way to fix the US is to break it - after all, the most progressive period in US history came at the height of the great depression. At the very least we can, hopefully, create a situation where the US can't afford foreign wars.
