...a close friend recently had her knee replaced. I also had a friend with arthroscopic knee surgery several years back. He was back at work the next day and had to watch himself to not overdue it for a couple of weeks. Not a huge deal.

Knee replacement is more serious, but if you needed that you'd already know it.

So far I've been lucky with my knees. My husband has played judo for decades and has had old sports injuries from it.

Good luck! Knee medicine is amazingly advanced compared to what it was not all that many years ago. With minimally invasive techniques, recovery can be very fast.
