18. Sounds like gorgeous ZW!
Especially due to the fact that if it gets too cold you can always take a day or weekend trip to warmer climes (I assume) I don't blame you for disliking the desert areas though. Some people say it has it's own kind of beauty but w/only a few exceptions during the week I spent in Tucson, I rarely saw that except in the evenings. It wasn't just unbearably hot, it was also kind of ugly IMHO. The surrounding mtns were pretty but all that cacti and parched brown shrubery... it just seemed so uninviting to me somehow.

It's very beautiful where I live too- My home is in the foothills of the Northern Appalachian Mtn range. Obviously our Mtn range is nowhere near the elevation you are in (4k feet at a nearby ski resort) But there are alot of rolling hills and small mtns. We're also not too high up or too northern to have the beautiful hardwoods intermingled with some Pine. It's very rural too. In my entire (former) legislative district (which was about the size of Rhode Island) there was not a single traffic light. Just rivers, mtns and 100's of lakes.

Oh my... What a motormouth! I think I've overindulged myself with your excellent coffee! Bagel was good too. Thanks :-)
