David Bowie comes to mind as probably the best of the sub-set although that is probably due to his studies in theater and mime.
Dwight Yokum was pretty good in the Panic Room and I've heard he's been good in the one or two other films he's been in.
Ice-T is fun to watch in Law and Order:SVU and Ice Cube has also given some strong performances in some of his roles.
Hear Mick Jagger was pretty good as a gigilo (big surprise) in a small role from a relatively recent film as well.
Any others I'm missing? ------------------------------------------------------- Now for the flip side:
Musicians that shouldn't be allowed into a movie/film studio ever again even as a part of tour group unless they are there strictly to work on a soundtrack:
Prince, Sting, Madonna
