First I can't believe no one has mentioned the Dick Van Dyke show yet.
WKRP I loved the line Herb's wife said when they were on a TV interview about how they only allow their children to watch good wholesome shows like 'Little House on the Prairie' because it was on at the same time as WKRP
Just Classic subtle joke like that, which of course are lost now withthe passage of time.
I Love Lucy is a classic beyond classics and in a category of its own
The Bob Newhart Show (but not Newhart or Bob)
Mary Tyler Moore
All in the Family
Mash and Cheers of Course are great
