Checkpoint firewalls and products like websense can not only block but passively monitor your web surfing habits, some at the packet layer.

Translated, even if you use a proxy server you can still be caught.

I will use pc anywhere or MS remote desktop to securely hit my pc at home through a router and surf there if I get desperate.

I rarely hit the site during the day even though I have a "pass" on the firewall. The time you spend online can also be monitored. We usually red flag music downloaders, porn, and dating services. Or just vast surfing activity.
