My heart goes out to all who have had a loss...:(

I have no idea why this stuff happens, but I do know, as Donne said so long ago, "No man is an island...."; the loss of one affects us all, whether we knew them or not. I never had the honor of meeting either of these people, and I am a lesser being for that.

I think that the love, sympathy and empathy here at DU is far and above what most would call 'normal'. I see hearts broken every day, and I wish it were'nt so.

May those who have had a recent loss, recover rapidly, and recall only the best of times w/their loved ones. May those of us who share their sorrow, recover as well, and just as quickly; someday, we will stand in their shoes, and we will be comforted by friends, family, and those here who show so much love and caring...:)
