As you can see, I give to a lot, but many of them get little: maybe $20-25, so I'm not throwing loads of cash anywhere. If I were rich, I'd love to set up a foundation to give money away, but alas, I'm about a 999,000 bucks short of being a millionaire. Close, but no cigar. Those are all causes I believe in, but I can't support them to the extent I'd like.
So: is it better to give more $$ to a few charities, or less to many? I'd love to give $250 a year to ACLU, but that would mean cutting out everything that's not church, and then I'd feel bad for cutting out the others. I could do rotation, but then, for instance, BAM gets money only once a decade, and what's the difference then?
How do you all deal with this?
