I have the "Girls Get Busy" CD and listen to it often. I've been thinking of using it to inspire my eleven-year old daughter, who wants a bass guitar for her upcoming birthday.

I'll bet the people who don't know Joan Jett draw a blank on most musicians of her generation. If it's a real record store, they should be better educated; if it's a Circuit City, I don't think they are required to actually know anything about music.
