19. Oh yes...
I spent two weeks of serious ouchiness each time and a handful of teeth incidences. (Not to mention sleep deprivation, etc.) However, that being said for me, it not only made me feel more comfortable with my body and appreciative of it, that special sense of nurturing and closeness with another little small person is rather indescribable. I have giving up a lot (or really put a lot on hold) being a mom and taking a lot of time and effort to really do a good job at it, but it has been worth it.

Once I graduate from nursing school, I want to work with postpartum moms (already have in a less clinical way) because a part of me has a rather idealistic notion that somehow if life can start from a happy, good footing, perhaps the work can be a better place. Maybe a bit too idealistic, but it's still within me nonetheless. :D
