how the republicans want Dean to be the nominee.

So I commented on that.

About Gephardt, yes, the GOP will do some of the same things, but I don't think he is as vulnerable as Dean would be.

One reason is because Gephardt has strong labor ties, and he is from an important area of the country in terms of electoral college, the mid-west. And Missouri is a key state. Dean is from a tiny state in New England that is not important like the mid-west states are.
