22. It was Paul
Who screwed up a lot of stuff as far as I'm concerned. But then he was busy trying to build a church, laying ground work in his "letters"
I've always wondered about that though, Jesus never mentioned gay people. If it was such a BIG deal, you would think he would of a least mentioned it. From the little I know from just personal reading, I can't believe Jesus would reject gay people. I doesn't fit. He had much bigger metaphysical fish to fry. I know he was an extremely devout spiritual man who believed the best path for people to follow God's path. I don't think he would care about sexual orientation. I think he cared about loving and obeying God, one another, and developing spiritually. I believe he mentioned a time or two that it wasn't an easy path, and it wasn't/isn't, especially for him (I'm not a believer like I said, but this is what I get out of it)
Paul is the also one who said women need to shut up in church and not "wear adornment" among other things. Makes me laugh when I see the fundalmentalist women preachers on TV with their make-up and their nails done, and their gold jewelry.
