Sorry, I have seen many serious suggestions that are much the same as yours. We are freaking here and all we can see are people saying these kinds of things. It is terrible to be here now, embarrassing and awful. Think of the many DUers who have to educate their children here and are facing these thoughts seriously. We went through this once before but this time is even worse so my sense of humor about the subject is a little touchy. I mean how many of these sentiments do you expect us to sit back and swallow? Nobody here on DU from Kansas agrees with this so why are we having to see thread after thread about it?

I have posted this, http://www.ksalliance.org/ with most of my responses with no apparent interest. It seems that we are trying to do something here but it seems that most people want to ignore that because it is just too much fun to keep making fun of us and suggesting that we leave the place where our families have been for generations. I mean how stupid are you to choose to stay there?

Again, I do apologize for not finding this amusing. Normally I am able to laugh at myself but this is just too much.
