Was Gallup only talking to Democrats? Or was it a more general poll?

If the question was asked of all respondents (and not just those who identify as Democrats) I think that would skew the results significantly. The Repugnantcans would just love for Hillary to be the nominee ... so if they got to pick the Democratic nominee, chances are they'd pick Hillary because they figure they could beat her.

I remember a poll here on DU about GOP nominees in the past few days that (at least when I saw it) showed Alan Keyes had a tremendouse lead. I'm assuming most DUers picked him because they figured we could beat him with anyone we'd want to run against him.
