They can't figure out who needs to be sacrificed to save the game. They have no clue how to apply a pressure to stop the bleeding. It's not the crime that does them in, it's the cover up ... they are just NO GOOD at it ... even with the press firmly in their pocket, they still couldn't keep it together long enough.

The lies that brought about this war were bad but they were given a pass on that because most of the dying was being done by someone else (the Iraqi citizens) but Katrina blew a whole in their press "pass" because the horrors were happening to our citizens and we all got to see it live, up close and personal, and those positions held by incompentants were exposed for all to see. Once you see that it happened in this department it gives you the idea to look around a bit more and see where else it might be happening. Miers was the noose that he could have avoided but instead, he stepped right up to the gallows voluntarily, just to see if the executioner would really show up. Joke is, he did. Now the public is waking from a long coma and they are not happy that they were duped.

Once this puzzle is finally put together and the true big picture is exposed (the war, the plans for war before they were even elected, the profits for the friends, the dismantling of our entire structure of government etc.) there will be no place left to hid and no one left to shelter them. Just as they are now, they are feasting on their own hoping that they can save themselves from the wrath of the people. It will not be pretty at all.

I don't think most will sit quietly by this time while pardons are handed out, certainly not if the signature at the bottom says "GWB".

Heads have to roll. They are just having trouble deciding just which straw is actually the shortest. Even that they are spinning against each other.

Bet blivet** wishes that he had gotten an 8-ball and a blowjob instead, right about now.

edited to add - This is not just exposing a corrupt administration, it is exposing a corrupt MOVEMENT, preplanned and signed on to by some other major players that don't like it when they lose on their investment. World dominance is at state, not just the current government of our country. The PNAC backers and their money men can't be happy that they are now stopped, dead in their tracks, when their plan was so profitiable for all of them. Think about it!
