94. I think some folks see politics as a necessary evil
I'm not sure some folks want to understand it. They just want it to work for them on the issue or the candidate they consider important. A very few strike me as not being all that interested in democracy exactly.
Since most politicians are doing the political dance, and not moving to one extreme or the other, they are considered spineless by their respective parties.
