situation is reversed and Al Gore nominated someone to the Chief Justice position and Dems had control of the Senate and the confirmation was a sure thing - I'd be willing to bet that EVERY repunk would vote NO. The Dems have got to stop waiting to pick a battle or bide their time and vote as a block simply on principle
Tell me that every repunk was actually against an independent investigation of the response to Katrina - well if they were for or against it everyone of them voted NO - except the repunk Senator from LA who didn't vote....how often do the repunks in the Senate and in the House vote in a block - we have got to be an opposition party.
Even if we lose what the hell is wrong with sending a message.
