I was looking at a photo just now trying to see how people are arriving at "thumb." I'm using a public computer at the local community college where I'm taking a couple of courses this summer and I'm in between classes.

There's a basketball camp going on here and this horde of young men (I'd say between 12 to 16 years in age) just hustled through on their way to the cafeteria.

This one kid saw what I was looking at and stopped and looked at the screen. His friends followed. They sort of giggled and laughed and one of them said "Looks like someone is giving you the finger."

I turned around, and said "Nope. That's George Bush, our president. And he's not just flipping me off. He's flipping you off, he's flipping your mom and dad off, he's flipping off the whole world. I think you should ask your mom and dad at dinner tonight why the president would do such a bad thing."

They just sort of gave a bewildered look and continued on to the cafeteria.
