16. Besides the young freepers who have "other priorities" to enlisting
there are the ex-military freepers who support the war but excuse their not re-enlisting why saying they have done their time.

I always tell them they are needed more than the new recruits - they are already trained and fight ready. Their country needs them in this time of war. They owe it to the country to go back in if they support the war. A patriot would want to go. During World War II there were plenty of people who had served in World War I - 20 some years before - that re-upped to help their country beat back the Nazi threat. There were also WWII vets who went back for Korea and Viet Nam. Plenty of vets served more than one tour in Nam even though that was all they were obligated to do. They believed in the war and was brave enough to go back for their country.

So, Bucko, put up or shut up. All flag draped, pseudo patriots need to pack their gear, kiss their family good bye and get moving. Get thee to a recruitment station.
