Military men do not usually divulge their political affiliations. If you want to ignore/dispute that, then consider any professional whose services you regularly seek. Do you know if they are a Republican or a Democrat? Your doctor? Your mechanic? Do you tell everyone you have a business relationship with your political feelings? Clark had no reason to get into that until he was sure he was running.

As for this whole "belittling the Dem party"...I just don't see it. We can argue about that all day long. Is Al Franken's book really a fair and balanced look at the right? Since you're reading Clark's words literally, I assume you think so? We have zero context, and the sources are two Bush supporters. As we know, they all tell the truth.

As to the fundraising, I don't have enough information. Even paired with the Reagan voting...I don't believe Clark is Maxine Waters with a uniform, that is okay with me. But people can't have it both ways--is Clark a Clinton sockpuppet, or is he a Republican? Of course, I think neither.
