Yes folks, creationism is hot and no longer confined to the more obscure parts of the US.

In good old Britain, Oxford professors are outraged by a college in Gateshead teaching creationism.

<SNIP>
Professor Dawkins said he had proof that Emmanuel College was telling its teachers to question any references in textbooks to the world being billions of years old, because creationism suggested the Universe was no more than a few thousand of years old.

While on the other side of Europe, the Serbian _government_ has issued a decree for schools to stop teaching their ridiculous Darwinism.

<SNIP>
"There were attempts like this in several US states, but they were rejected. It turns out that our fundamentalists are much more successful."

In progressive Holland, the minster of education wants to hold a parlemental debate on the merits of teaching creationism in schools.

<TRANSLATED SNIP>
...(minister) van der Hoeven himself is a follower of the Intelligent Design movement that has blown over from the US.
...
Ten days ago there was consternation on a college in Groningen because a teacher was instructing this theory (ID) to the students.

Similar stories are reported in Belgium, France and Germany. Various religious Muslem movements in Europe also started denouncing Darwinism in public.

This is good news my friends. Our dumbopoly is broken. They won't be able to make fun of us anymore. :)
