72. The Site's for Real...the Story of His Death? Greatly Exaggerated.

And he's NO Antiwar activist. He's a white supremacist, attention-seeking troll. He's got more hate-spewing websites than a Hydra has heads (they come and go, apparently), and he no doubt made up the story of his death after Googling himself (a hobby that probably takes up a great deal of his time) and found this:

NEWSWATCH 50 || WWTI NEWS
... Local emergency crews tried to revive him, but he died from his injuries after being taken ... Michael Crook is the author of the anti-soldier website ...
http://www.newswatch50.com/news/local/story.aspx?content_id=8D21D3EE-768A-4A9D-AD11-B8FC4EA30BFA

Of course, if you click on the link, you'll find the results are from two different stories, one a totally unrelated death, and the other on a local protest against him and his "Forsake the Troops" website.

I spent 15-20 minutes crawling around the Syracuse news outlets, and there was absolutely nothing about his death or any attack on him. I also did a little free association web crawling and found any number of people who Want him dead, or would be willing to kill him; also found his aliases, home address in Syracuse, NY, and his phone number. He may have decided the time to lay low was at hand, and faking his own death a convenient ruse for now.
