LOL! But the point I was making is that without that accounting, legitimate explanations for his WH visits are just as credible as any others. Don't get me wrong-- I don't know that there are any legitimate explanations-- but by the same token I don't know that there aren't. It seems to me that this story was rushed out before anything but the circumstances could be determined.

on edit-- you know, on reflection it seems to me that's both the strength and weakness of blogging as journalism. Blogs can report something like this without knowing much about the context or the consequences of the circumstances, and leave it to intelligent, critical readers to digest and understand events themselves. That's both an advantage, and a disadvantage, I think.
