That's all Scheuer's book is ("Imperial Hubris"). I too noted that blame was carefully placed on three people, all vestiges of the Clinton administration: Clark, Tenet, and I've forgotten the third. How convenient!!! Not a peep about Conda-lie-za, Darth Cheney, Rummy, The Wolf, nor Gee Dubya. I'm sure some truth is revealed in Hubris, but I'm also sure that this is an exercise in the limited hang.

(Definition: "The Limited Hang" -- put enough truth out there to sate curious appetites, but be sure to settle accountability on some mid-level or expendable officials, and thereby displace attention from those who truly are accountable.)
