They aren't locked down. I got an email tonight from someone I know at a major paper asking what I knew about all this.

He wanted to know if you were going to release any hard evidence of a pattern, not just isolated "glitches". (Past voting and/or registration is not a predictor of future behavior.)

He said most journalists still take their government watchdog function seriously, but they need to have something solid they can take to their editors.
