Russert and the others ask those kinds of questions. As soon as Obama or any other Progressive says that what many of us believe, that it WAS and continues to be all about politics. The RW/RNC w/the complete and total cooperation and complicity of the "mainstream" media, marginalizes and dismisses as "looney left" those who dare to suggest that this administration is indeed that corrupt and cynical. So, Obama and others who want to at least be taken seriously enough to get coverage that doesn't make them look ridiculous, have to be measured in how they voice their criticism. It is not fair and it is truly a double-standard because we know any Republican can get airtime on almost any talk show and use the most reckless and irresponsible language to make charges about any Democrat and they suffer no repercussions. The Dems, particularly the more liberal ones, DO NOT have this luxury. At least, not when dealing with the national media.
