Rush Limbaugh's Rough Day.

First of all, whoever was the caller at about 1:45 eastern time nailed HeadRush's ass right to the wall. If you are a DUer, my hat's off to you, buddy.

The short of it was, Limbaugh asked this guy to name just one way Bush was incapable of leading the War on Terror. To which the guy said, "okay, here's one: 'Bring it on.' Bush is sitting in a limousine egging on the enemy." Limbaugh tried to claim that we didn't start the war in Iraq, that 9/11 started it. To which the caller said, "Actually Bush said there is no connection between Iraq and al Qaeda" (a verbatim recollection of Randi Rhodes' audio clip).

To that, Limbaugh called the caller a liar and said that Bush never made such an admission.

Later, Limbaugh went on a diatribe about John Kerry saying that Bush should apologize for the Iraq prisoner abuse. Limbaugh said something to the effect of, "this just proves what a weak military leader Kerry would be." And less than an hour later Bush apologized!

It was so freaking sweet.
