10. I'm not convinced that gasbags on the radio...
actually reflect the voting population. They are amusing to listen to, but they are still just gasbags on the radio.

I still think that the most important thing is local peer pressure, not the increasing irrelevant media play. When a bunch of people in the office start talking about local taxes, bills, and problems, and who they know who is out of work, can't pay hospital bills, whose business just went belly up... that's what affects people.

Real politics is still local, and if all your friends are doing OK, keep Shrub around to keep up the good times. If not...
