Hoping It Permitted it to Happen On Purpose...

Their neglect of important issues in the Middle East and their stated desire to stop 'swatting at flies' was the first step in their hopes that something would happen to permit them to begin their PNAC agenda. They were challenging the terrorists to do something...anything so they could invade Iraq and begin their not-so-secret plan to create a democracy in a Middle Eastern country.

Colin Powell made a visit to Afghanistan and gave a $43 million dollar "grant" to the Taliban. The Taliban was also given the message that they could accept a "carpet of gold" or a "carpet of bombs". At the time, they were attempting to get the assistance of Pakistan in getting rid of bin Laden and the Taliban on the sly. This was all part of their plan. Three days before 9/11, the leader of the Northern Front, our allies against the Taliban and bin Laden was assassinated. Everything was going according to plan. It was just a matter of time before bin Laden and al Qaeda showed their hands and permitted the PNAC crowd to complete their mission. Then 9/11 happened...
