After the big culture war over gay marriage is won by liberals and begins to subside what will be the next big wedge issue conservatives use that will become the next civil rights fight? The death penalty? polygmy? assisted suicide? marajuana laws? Just curious what peopel are goes without saying that they will always have a wedge issue...they dont get much out of abortion anymore because most people percieve it as politically untouchable, they just spit and scream about it a lot. I assume within the next 10 yrs gay marriage will be a national reality. They failed to capitalize much on Affirmative Action and soon the majority in this country will be minorities so it isn't something they will want to touch.
