14. The problem - on all sides - with this
is that NO candidate will have a shot to win against bush - unless we MAKE it OUR responsibility to get him to win. Get it? WE have to go door to door, we have to counter the rightwing media spin, we have to work on the apathetic to get them to vote.

NO group, just 'holding their noses' and voting - will help ensure a victory over vote. Not clark supporters not acting for dean, not dean supporters being petulant over kerry, not any group doing the same regarding clark.

The more folks keep playing this - take my marbles and go home and then it will be your (and your candidate's) fault - the more we are destined to win, because we fail to recognize that NO candidate has the charisma to just attract voters against bush - when the bushies have the media sympathy and probably 4 times the money in add campaigns. It will take a grassroot effort - be it for Clark, Dean, Gephardt, Kerry or ANY candidate - the likes we have never seen. And it will be up to US to pull it off.

Threads like these (from all directions) cut the chances of that happening each time they appear. Wish folks would start taking responsibility for their own actions - including that winning will only happen by our taking control of it and working our tails off. Regardless of whether it is our favorite guy, or not.
