A "film" that depicted President Clinton when he was Governor of Arkansas as a murderer and a cocaine addict, among other things, saw no media attention when it was published. Aside from editorials and op-ed pieces in Wall Street Journal promoting it and, if you count him as a member of the media, Rev. Jerry Falwell promoting it on his TV show, "The Old-Time Gospel Hour."

The movie was produced by Larry Nichols, who was fired in 1988 by then Governor Clinton for misusing state telephones, who is also its star. Larry Nichols and WSJ editorial writer John Fund met in a hotel room during the 1992 Presidential campaign (along with other misanthropic Clinton "informers") for the stated purpose "to bring down Bill Clinton."

Larry Nichols, some will remember, helped to publicize the Gennifer Flowers controversy. In the movie he also alleges that Hillary Clinton was guilty of insider trading and had an affair with Vince Foster. Of course these allegations were made, and promulgated through more vociferous critics of President Clinton in the media, with no connection to the fact that Hillary Clinton represented Nichols' ex-wife in a custody battle that he lost.
