Because it's not my opinion.

I learned a lesson many years ago... that lesson was not to allow hateful people, intent on hurting me emotionally or physically, into my life.

My brother does just that. He was always nasty to me. He always spewed RW political crap, even when it wasn't called for. He always told me repeatedly how idiotic I was for not falling into line behind him like a good little bigot.

That's an abusive person. I don't allow myself to be abused by people.

I used to love the brother I grew up with. I do not love this person. I do not care a whit about him. You may still love your brothers, but there's nothing worth loving inside of this man and I refuse to carry on a relationship based on abuse.

When he dies, the world will be a better place, unless he does a complete 180 before that day...
