As long as they are socially, majority approved freedoms. Your freedoms should not require that geographically isolated provincials have to exercise any degree of understanding or accommodation. Freedoms of speech, behavior etcetera are all strictly defined by what 'Americans' feel comfortable with. Freedom of speech does not exist.
Try speaking out against war immediately post 911. Try to hold a conversation explaining why people in other countries have many valid reasons to hate us and to pray for our destruction. You do not have to support these beliefs. Just try to have a conversation that dares to explore the perspective of the other side. IT IS NOT ALLOWED!
