7. Exactly... and there's no exception that says "unless a President feels
like it." He once again has broken the LAW. He has once again gone against the Constitution.

Even though I have done nothing wrong except exercise my Constitutionally protected RIGHTS I would never say "let him spy on me" because it's WRONG... it's illegal and it's unconstitutional. At some point we must say enough is enough. This is so very reminiscent of the bad ole days of Hoover, McCarty and Nixon. It was wrong then and it's wrong now. This sets a dangerous precedent if it's allowed to continue.

I think the neo-Cons who are defending this should ask themselves would it be acceptable for a future Democratic president (oh say.. umm... Hillary Clinton :-D ) to spy on whomever they felt like... whom ever they thought *might* be a threat? What if THEY were seen as a threat because they were members of the wrong bowling league or church? What if the government monitored EVERY thing they did... EVERY conversation they had... EVERY conversation their child had and could take it as a "threat" if their paranoia felt like it?

It's by the grace of the CONSTITUTION that ALL of our rights are protected... defending our Bill of Rights and Constitution is not just something for some select Americans... it's for ALL.
