The defense procurement budget and the repressive propaganda and spying organizations are not going to go away even if bushco were tarred and feathered.

The problem is great economic instability associated with insecure and exhausted energy resources and supply chains. The American elites are disturbed by the challenges abroad and at home to their thoughtless greed and lack of leadership. They resort to a policy of war as a solution rather than devoting their efforts to economic adaptation and the developing a new social model with local applications of commerce, energy and industry.

The globalist, suburban commuter/ Walmart/ aerospace model is running out of energy, literally. The ancient Roman solution of rebuilding and extending the frontiers of the empire is going to result in wars which make Iraq pale in comparison.
