Now, go right on over to the Unemployment office and sign up for your benefits. Don't wait...'cause there's a waiting period that only begins when you sign up, NOT as of the day you're laid off.

"Laid Off" - I HATE that phrase. Laid off is what companies used to say when they had to Temporarily let folks go because business was bad and they'd rehire them as soon as things picked up.

You, I, and a couple of million others in this country have been FIRED since BushCo took power. Plain and simple.
