16. that's right- the only 'evidence' against her
was the state's decision NOT to prosecute, based on some pretty screwed up rules-
HER prior history was admissible- THIERS was not- (including the fact that her BF was incarcerated for molesting his own daughter, and was one of the assailiants).

How she 'appeared' has ABSOLUTLY NO BEARING on whether or not she endured a rape- and any judge worth shit, should know this- Some very interesting questions about this incident- it is NOT on the 'net' and the only refrence to it in the media, leaves the names of the victim AND the accused out- rather odd wouldn't you say?

Prosecuters put victims through hell and back, to see if they can stand up under the scruteny that a trial entails- I don't understand why they brought this before the court if they weren't committed to seeing justice done- and I hope her 'friends' who convinced her to come forward, care enough to be there for her after yet another betrayal.

To the poster who said he believed in false allegations.... perhaps they DO happen, in cases of 'revenge' or anger or whatever- but i'd bet my life on the fact that they are RARE, that the victim doesn't have to be urged to 'press charges'.
As a man, you likely can't begin to understand the experience...at least i hope you can't. Why we look the other way at what goes on in mens prisons- and my god, even JOKE about being someone's 'bitch' in jail, speaks so loudly about how little this society actually cares about the soul, and spirit of our fellow human beings- Rape is not something that ends when the act is over, .... and it isn't something that fades with the bruses and pain.... nor is it a wound that ever EVER heals-
You can't restore a persons trust- you can't return a persons belief that this world is not a very very bad place.... and that even those you love and trust are capable of hurting you in ways you never dreamed they would....and feeling like you are nothing more than something to be used and thrown away .....
